I designed these t-shirts for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for their Women In Rock series. I was assigned the 1970s: Rock and Disco.

Here are the final versions of the watercolored invitations for my friend Nicole’s Baby Shower (which I am excited to be hosting!) They will be printed on both sides. I also made a repeat with the new water droplet pattern and ordered some gift wrap in the print.

Hopefully the Mama to be will like these. I’m so pumped to do all the decorating and will have to document the entire celebration! More soon…
I made these invitations for the first wedding that I’m actually helping to plan. It feels so great to help another couple make their dream wedding a reality. This is a Memorial weekend celebration for an American bride and her Columbian fiancée. The theme is to tie tropical South American flowers with Minnesotan botanicals, in a low-key evening soiree. Twinkle lights are mandatory. More to come soon…

It has begun… friends are having babies. I’m hosting a baby shower later in the year and I’m pretty excited. This got me thinking about some greeting card ideas. Here is what I’ve come up with so far…

I also thought it would be fun to design a repeat for wrapping baby gifts, lining envelopes, or for scrapbooking backgrounds. You can order a roll of paper in my Spoonflower store.

I love the natural elements of the Pagan holidays, and Yule is a great one to celebrate! In our house, we celebrate St. Nicolas Day, Yule (the Winter Solstice/the longest night of the year) and Christmas. The past few years I’ve been making homemade Irish Cream to have at our holiday parties and also to give away as gifts.
I usually make like 8 batches of the stuff with my group of girlfriends and we also do an annual cookie swap. It’s so good, and so, so bad for you! Plus, it goes great with cookies! Win-win. The only drawback is that it must remain refrigerated, so keep that in mind if you make a large batch.
Here’s the recipe:
Just put everything in the blender, mix it until it’s consistent and then use a funnel to bottle it (in a sterile container!); Refrigerate and shake before serving. It’s good for three months from the date you make it.
